EU Green Week is the European Commission's annual policy conference on the environment, run by the Directorate-General for Environment and now in its 26th edition, with the 2026 high-level conference held in Brussels on 3–4 June. The theme, "Investing in a nature-positive economy", makes the case that protecting and restoring nature underpins Europe's prosperity, resilience and competitiveness, with focus areas including profitable farming, soil health, greening cities and new approaches to financing nature. The Brussels programme mixes panel discussions, short TED-style talks and cinema nights with a startup-investor matchmaking event held for the first time, and partner events run across Europe through June. Sessions are livestreamed, opening the conference to policymakers, investors, farmers, businesses and civil society who cannot attend in person.
