Bodegas Baigorri is an iconic winery nestle at the foot of the Cantabrian montains in the village of Samaniego, Rioja Alavesa. Thanks to a unique architectural project - low-tech gravity fed winemaking we produce a wide range of wines, including single vineyards and rare autoctonous grape varieties with an original and expressive identity.
Baigorri wines are distributed nationwide and in selected foreign countries in restaurants, wineshops, hotels or cruise lines.
Our mission as big family is to work with coherence, respect and integrity applying a holistic knowledge of wine to give each little plot its most inherent value. We always work with respect for biodiversity and traditional practices; coherence between what we do today and what we want for tomorrow; and integrity to act locally, timely for continuous improvement with awareness of the global and interconnected environment and its close link to the community.
70% of grapes comes from small local growers; all of our wines are vegan and sustainable certified by Fair'N Green; 25.000 international visitors annually; and continue participation in I+D project in the fields of circular economy and regenerative viticulture practices.
