Since 1842, the Busatti family has been weaving in the village of Anghiari, Tuscany. In our historic
headquarters, production still takes place using ancient shuttle looms. We use only natural fibers,
including seaweed fiber, as its cultivation requires no significant water consumption.
The longevity of our weaving tradition, now in its eighth generation, is also thanks to the place
where we were born and where our main headquarters still resides: the village of Anghiari. In
collaboration with local associations and organizations, we actively participate in various projects
related to history, theater, and the preservation of the social fabric of the area, which is
predominantly characterized by artisanal work.
We believe that the purpose of a historic company like Busatti is to create affinity, relationships,
and community, leveraging its centuries-old experience in alignment with the principles of
sustainable social and environmental development.
