Cumulus is a leading architectural design practice. Founded in 2011 in Tasmania, the studio has developed a reputation for unique, contextually responsive design.
With studios in Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, they operate as a single entity to offer a collaborative response and draw on expertise from across the studios as required. From ideation through to delivery, Cumulus uses their collective resources to form, critique and test new ideas, drawing inspiration from the environment to inform design decisions.

Fundamental to their work is an understanding of environmental and financial sustainability, which is built into every project — not just an added extra. In-house, Cumulus has experience in education, community based and adaptive reuse projects, as well as tourism, residential and commercial project sectors.
