Established in 2012, Dryrobe was founded by Gideon Bright, a UK-based surfer and designer. Inspired by a homemade changing robe his mum made him when he was a teenager, he created the Dryrobe Advance, the original weatherproof changing robe.
Designed to let you get changed anywhere, the Dryrobe Advance protects you from the elements, keeping you warm and dry in any climate.
Dryrobe uses materials with a lower environmental impact compared to virgin equivalents. For our core products, the weather-resistant outer shell is 100% recycled nylon and the lining is 100% recycled polyester, both GRS certified. To keep our products waterproof without persistent chemicals, we use PFC-free BIONIC-FINISH ECO Durable Water-Repellent (DWR) finishing. Our towelling products are made from 100% organic cotton fabrics. We consistently introduce materials into our range that repurpose waste, helping to divert it from landfill.
Now a familiar sight on beaches and on the backs of elite athletes at sporting events all over the world, the Dryrobe client list includes Red Bull, GoPro, and Team GB. Driven by our "Lighter Footprint" mission, we use durable fabrics so our products are designed to last, reducing the need for replacement and creating less waste.
