As a purpose driven, ethical business, our mission is to deliver regenerative solutions for the divestment and repurposing of brownfield sites across the UK.
From former landfills, quarries, lagoons and chemical works, the ability to convert difficult legacy sites of the past into unique environmental and community assets of the future is Green Earth Development Group’s core strength.
We have a circular economy operating model where surplus soil from construction projects, that would normally be sent to landfill, is used to restore otherwise undevelopable brownfield land. Soil is one our most valuable natural resources and yet society routinely discards this material as waste and buries it in landfill. Our restoration designs enable ‘resource recovery’ principles to be adopted, which use soils positively to repair redundant and contaminated sites. Our soil re-use strategy provides the building blocks for both nature recovery and optimal solar deployment, whilst arresting pollution on legacy sites.
As an output we create a combination of layered benefits
including solar power, biodiversity and open green
spaces for the public, which provide solutions back to the
developer and local authorities to enable further sustainable
development and investment into the local area.
