More than sixty years ago, our story began in Maasbree, Limburg, with the founders of our company: Herman and Francis Vaessen. With a love for nature and true craftsmanship, they laid the foundation for what has since grown into Herman Vaessen B.V. and Garden Centre Vaessen (Tuincollectie.nl, Kadoboompje.nl and Bloemenhofje). What started small and local has evolved into a family business driven by one mission: to make green, sustainable solutions accessible to everyone.
At Herman Vaessen B.V., we pursue this mission by creating outdoor spaces that are future-proof, biodiverse and healthy. Places where people feel comfortable, where trees provide cooling, where water can flow freely again, and where greenery brings people together. From business parks to public spaces, from healthcare facilities to recreational areas, and from atmospheric city gardens to the most beautiful private dream gardens — every project contributes to a living environment in which people and nature are in harmony.
In our garden centre, we share that same love for greenery with our visitors. Garden Centre Vaessen has long been a place where people find inspiration, discover plants and enjoy spending time outdoors. Through Bloemenhofje and our webshops Tuincollectie.nl and Kadoboompje.
