Founded in 2016, mountainFLOW eco-wax manufacturers high-performance, plant-based, biodegradable, non-toxic ski wax and bike lube. In 2022, mountainFLOW launched the ski industry's first recycled aluminum ski poles and in 2023, launched the bike industry's first plant-based water bottles. mountainFLOW aims to rethink and reimagine the paradigm of consumables in the ski and bike industries while providing extraordinary performance without the use of harmful petrochemicals. In 2022, the company launched a nationwide Fluoro-Wax Takeback program that incentivized businesses and individuals alike to turn in their old fluorinated ski wax to help end the perpetuation of forever chemicals (PFAS) that was showing up in ski race venues that was ultimately ending up in local watersheds.
