Parque del Recuerdo

Parque del Recuerdo is the first cemetery in Chile that utilizes a novel concept of landscaping in their services. Over the past 40 years, Parque del Recuerdo has helped families cope with the loss of a loved one. They are committed to provide professional support to those who need it. In the past five years, they have carried out the only existing study about Chilean culture and death. The results have been shared in the community, and they have addressed their strategies based on the needs of individuals, diversifying, for example rites and memorial services. Since its creation, Parque del Recuerdo has become a popular green space in Santiago- which is one of the world's top ten polluted cities. The gardens are one of the many attractions to the cemetery where you can find every kind of flora and fauna. Parque del Recuerdo spans over 452.2 acres, and it is one of the few resting places for migratory birds.
